Homework Help

We believe in helping after-school programs help children do well in school. With both parents having to work and/or not knowing the English language very well, kids in grades TK-12 are more than likely to have a hard time understanding the homework they need to do, especially with common core work and the many word problems that many students need help in, especially students who just came from abroad or are first-generation Americans who need help with the English language.

Tutoring

After children finish with their homework, we believe that they should have some form of extra work for them to further work on and/or advance their skills. Working on math, language arts, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing helps build and enhance their academic knowledge. We also encourage group work to strengthen their leadership and communication skills.

Electives

Aside from homework help and tutoring, children should participate in electives/activities that incorporate STEAM and physical education.

We help provide creative art, arts and crafts, science classes have experiments/activities, coding, robotics, etc.  classes as part of STEAM activities.

Of course, having electives like basketball club or swimming class is good too. Kids get to work on the physical aspect of nurturing the mind as well as the body.

summer-camp

During the summer, we provide a number of services to our students as well as helping provide these services to a few other after-school/summer programs:

  • Coding class
  • Creative drawing and art class
  • Writing class
  • Robotics class
  • Arts and crafts
  • Science class
  •  Etc.

S.T.E.M. AND S.T.E.A.M.

What is S.T.E.A.M.?

S.T.E.M. + Art = S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)

By incorporating STEAM into our summer programs, we build stronger creative minds that will help lead us into the future.
